Additional Notes:
  • Codeshare/Interline Flights: If traveling with another airline (e.g., Lufthansa), the checked baggage policy of the airline operating the longer leg applies. • Lost/Damaged Baggage: Report damage within 7 days, lost baggage within 21 days at the airport’s Lost & Found for a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). Track status online. Compensation up to ~€1,414 per Montreal Convention, but proof of loss (receipts) required.
  • Public Sentiment: Travelers report strict enforcement of carry-on limits due to small aircraft. Complaints include high fees for excess baggage and delays in compensation for lost/damaged luggage.
