Central Mountain Air Flight Change Policy

Overview

Central Mountain Air allows passengers to change flight bookings under specific conditions, depending on the fare type and timing. Changes can be made through the airline’s website, reservations office, or travel agents, with applicable fees and fare differences.

Key Points
  • Free Changes Within Initial Period: Passengers can change or cancel tickets within one day of purchase without penalty, provided the flight departs at least one week later.
  • Change Fees: After the initial period, a change fee applies per direction, per passenger, plus any fare difference if the new flight is more expensive.
  • Flex+ Fare: Flex+ fare tickets allow complimentary changes and cancellations, name changes at no cost, and are fully refundable.
  • Change Deadline: Changes must be made at least two hours before the original flight’s departure, or the ticket loses its value.
  • Same-Day Changes: Same-day flight changes at the airport are subject to availability, with a fee per direction, per passenger, plus any fare difference.
  • Ticket Validity: If a booking is canceled before departure, the ticket’s value can be applied to a new ticket within one year from the original issuance date, subject to change fees and fare differences.
  • Third-Party Bookings: Changes for tickets booked through travel agencies or interline partners like Air Canada or WestJet must be handled through the original booking source.
  • Flight Disruptions: If Central Mountain Air cancels or delays a flight by at least two hours, passengers may be rebooked on the next available flight at no cost or offered a refund.
  • Hold My Booking: For reservations made more than three weeks in advance, the Hold My Booking feature allows passengers to secure a fare for up to three days with a nonrefundable fee. Changes within one day of payment are free.
  • COVID-19 Flexibility: A flexible policy allows up to two free roundtrip changes per person until three days before departure, or cancellation with a two-year future flight credit. This does not apply to codeshare or interline flights.
