Carry-On Baggage Allowance
Fiji Airways operates a piece-based baggage system for carry-on luggage, with specific limits on weight, dimensions, and the number of items allowed.
Economy Class:
- Allowance: 1 piece of carry-on luggage + 1 small personal item (e.g., handbag, laptop bag, umbrella, or camera).
- Maximum Weight: 7 kg (15 lbs) total for both items combined.
- Maximum Dimensions: Total dimensions (length + width + height) must not exceed 118 cm (46 inches), with individual dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23 cm (including handles and wheels).
- Note: Some reports from passengers indicate strict enforcement of the 7 kg limit, with bags weighed at check-in and tagged for approval. Exceeding the limit may result in the bag being checked for a fee (e.g., AUD 100–390, depending on the route).
Business Class:
- Allowance: 2 pieces of carry-on luggage + 1 small personal item.
- Maximum Weight: 7 kg (15 lbs) per piece, up to 14 kg total.
- Maximum Dimensions: Total dimensions per piece must not exceed 126 cm (50 inches), with individual dimensions of 56 x 45 x 25 cm.
Infants (under 2 years):

Mobility Aids:

Firearms and Ammunition:
