Fiji Airways Flight Change Policy

Overview

Fiji Airways allows passengers to modify their flight bookings under specific conditions. Changes can be made to flight dates, times, destinations, seat selections, and passenger names, subject to applicable fees and fare differences.

Key Conditions
  • Changes must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
  • Modifications are permitted only for tickets purchased through authorized channels, such as the Fiji Airways website, customer service, or ticket counters.
  • The policy applies to one-way and return point-to-point itineraries. For flights involving other airlines, changes are limited to Fiji Airways segments.
  • Changes to bookings made within 24 hours of purchase are generally free, provided the flight departs at least 7 days later.
24-Hour Change Policy

For flights originating in the United States or Canada, passengers can change their booking within 24 hours of purchase without a fee, as long as the flight is at least 7 days away. This does not apply to bereavement fares, military fares, or bookings made with frequent flyer points.

Change Fees
  • A fee may apply for changes made after the 24-hour window or within 7 days of departure.
  • Changing the flight date up to 11 months from the booking date incurs a reissue fee.
  • Name changes may incur a fee, particularly if requested close to the departure date.
  • Additional fare differences may apply based on the new flight's cost.
How to Change a Flight

Passengers can modify their bookings through the following methods:

  • Online: Use the "Manage Booking" tab on the Fiji Airways website by entering the booking reference and last name to select new flight details.
  • Customer Support: Contact Fiji Airways via phone or live chat for assistance with changes.
  • In-Person: Visit a Fiji Airways ticket counter or kiosk at the airport.
Additional Notes
  • Group bookings deviating from the original block may incur a fee per person, subject to availability.
  • Changes to flights booked through third parties, such as travel agencies, may involve additional fees imposed by the agency.
  • Fiji Airways may rebook passengers on the next available flight in case of significant delays or cancellations, at no extra cost.
