Jeju Air Flight Change Policy

Overview

Jeju Air allows passengers to modify flight bookings, including changes to dates, times, or cabin class, subject to fare rules and availability. Changes must be made before departure to avoid no-show penalties, which may result in loss of ticket value. Fees and fare differences may apply based on fare type, route, and timing. Route changes are not permitted; passengers must cancel and rebook for different routes.

24-Hour Change Policy

Passengers can change their booking within one day of purchase without a fee, provided the flight is at least a week away and was booked directly through Jeju Air’s website, mobile app, customer service, or airport counters. This applies to most fare types, except discounted, group, or promotional fares. Fare differences may apply if the new flight is more expensive.

Fare Type Policies
  • Fly: Changes are not permitted; tickets are non-refundable.
  • Fly Bag: Changes incur a fee, with fare differences if the new flight is more expensive. Non-refundable.
  • Fly Bag+: Changes incur a fee, with fare differences if applicable. Non-refundable.
  • Flex: No change fees, but fare differences apply if the new flight is more expensive. Refundable under certain conditions.
  • Biz Lite: No change fees, but fare differences apply if the new flight is more expensive. Refundable under certain conditions.
Change Fees
  • Fees for Fly Bag and Fly Bag+ fares vary by route (domestic or international) and timing, with higher fees closer to departure.
  • Fare differences are charged if the new flight is more expensive; no refund or credit is issued if the new fare is lower.
  • Flex and Biz Lite fares have no change fees, but fare differences apply.
  • No-show penalties apply if changes are not made before departure, potentially resulting in loss of ticket value.
  • Service fees may apply for changes made via customer service, airport counters, or sales offices, charged per passenger per transaction.
  • Infants without a seat are exempt from change fees.
How to Change a Flight

Passengers can modify their bookings through the following methods:

  • Online: Visit the “My Trips” section on the Jeju Air website or mobile app, enter the booking reference and last name, select new flight details, and pay any fees or fare differences. Changes must be made at least a short time before departure.
  • Customer Service: Contact the Jeju Air customer service center for assistance, especially for same-day changes or complex itineraries. A service fee may apply.
  • In-Person: Visit a Jeju Air ticket counter or sales office at the airport to process changes, subject to availability and fees.
  • Travel Agency: If booked through a third party, contact the agency to manage changes, which may involve additional fees.
Flight Disruptions
  • For significant schedule changes, such as delays exceeding a short duration or changes to departure/arrival airports, passengers can rebook without fees or fare differences within a short period from the original departure date, or request a refund or travel voucher.
  • Notifications are sent via email or SMS if contact details are provided in the booking.
  • In cases of irregular operations (e.g., cancellations due to weather or technical issues), passengers may be rebooked on the next available flight or offered accommodation if no flights are available.
Additional Notes
  • Passengers should review fare rules at booking to understand change restrictions and costs.
  • Changes to bookings with additional services (e.g., baggage, seats) may require re-selection of services, as they may not transfer to the new flight.
  • Travel credits issued for changes are valid for one year, non-transferable, and applicable only to Jeju Air flights.
  • Name corrections for minor spelling errors are allowed with supporting documents; full name changes to another person are not permitted.
