Carry-On Baggage
  • Economy Class (Simple, Saver, Standard, Flex): One carry-on bag, max 8 kg (17.6 lbs), dimensions up to 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21.7 x 15.7 x 9 in, including handles/wheels), plus one personal item (e.g., handbag, laptop bag, small backpack), max 2 kg (4.4 lbs), 40 x 35 x 12 cm (15.7 x 13.8 x 4.7 in).
  • Premium Economy (Short/Mid-Haul): One carry-on bag, max 8 kg, same dimensions, plus one personal item.
  • Premium Economy (Intercontinental): Two carry-on bags, max 12 kg (26.4 lbs) combined (one up to 8 kg), same dimensions, plus one personal item.
  • Business Class: Two carry-on bags, max 9 kg (19.8 lbs) each, same dimensions, plus one personal item.
  • Infants (under 2 years): One carry-on bag, max 8 kg, same dimensions, plus one collapsible stroller, car seat, or travel cot free.
  • Liquids, Aerosols, Gels (LAGs): Containers up to 100 ml in a 1-liter transparent, resealable plastic bag (total volume ≤ 1 liter). Duty-free liquids in sealed security bags allowed.
  • Notes: Carry-on must fit in overhead bin or under seat. Strict checks at Warsaw (WAW), Miami (MIA), and London (LHR). Oversized/overweight bags checked at gate for ~PLN 100–250 (~$25–$60 USD).   • Miles & More/Star Alliance Benefits:
    • Silver: +1 piece (23 kg Economy, 32 kg Premium/Business) or +10 kg where weight concept applies.
    • Gold/Senator/HON Circle: +1 piece (23 kg Economy, 32 kg Premium/Business) or +20 kg; one golf/ski equipment free (except USA/Canada).
  • Notes: No pooling; each bag must meet weight limits. Non-standard baggage (e.g., large backpacks, surfboards) checked at oversize counter. Charter flights follow tour operator rules.

Special Baggage

Prohibited Items
  • Checked Baggage: Explosives, flammable liquids/gases, corrosives, e-cigarettes, lithium batteries >160 Wh, hoverboards, MacBook Pro 15-inch (2015–2017).
  • Carry-On Baggage: Sharp objects, firearms, liquids >100 ml, stun devices, toy weapons. One lighter/safety matches allowed on person only.
  • Notes: Firearms/ammunition (≤5 kg) allowed in checked baggage with permits, unloaded, per IATA rules. Check destination restrictions (e.g., USA, Canada, Australia). Food allowed in carry-on (e.g., sandwiches), but some countries (e.g., Australia) ban fresh food/wood.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Baggage
  • Reporting: File Property Irregularity Report (PIR) within 7 days (damage/loss) or 21 days (delay) at airport. Retain receipts, claim tags, photos.
