Nok Air Baggage Policy – SearchOFlights

All Passengers: One carry-on bag, max 7 kg (15 lbs), dimensions up to 56 x 36 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in, total 115 cm, including handles/wheels) for Boeing 737 flights, or 50 x 36 x 23 cm (19.7 x 14 x 9 in) for ATR/Q400 flights. Plus one personal item (e.g., handbag, laptop bag, small backpack) that fits under the seat.
Infants (under 2 years, no seat): One small bag for in-flight needs (e.g., nappies, feeding bottles), max 5 kg (11 lbs), plus one collapsible stroller, car seat, or carrycot free.
Liquids, Aerosols, Gels (LAGs): Containers up to 100 ml in a 1-liter transparent, resealable plastic bag (total volume ≤ 1 liter). Duty-free liquids in sealed security bags allowed with proof of purchase.
Notes: Strict weight checks at Bangkok (DMK), Phuket (HKT), and Chiang Mai (CNX); size checks stricter on ATR/Q400 due to smaller cabins. Oversized/overweight bags sent to hold with fees (~THB 300–900/$8–$25 USD per kg). Limited overhead space on ATR flights; early boarding advised.

Max Limits: Each bag up to 30 kg (66 lbs), max 160 x 119 x 119 cm (63 x 47 x 47 in) for one item, or 203 cm (80 in) height for multiple items. Total allowance per passenger cannot exceed 40 kg (88 lbs). Bags over 30 kg or oversized require cargo service.
Domestic Flights:
- Nok Lite: No free checked baggage.
- Nok X-tra: 15 kg (33 lbs); Nok Smile Plus: 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Nok MAX: 25 kg (55 lbs); Nok Smile Plus: 35 kg (77 lbs).
Domestic Flights Connecting to International:
- Nok X-tra: 20 kg (44 lbs); Nok Smile Plus: 30 kg (66 lbs).

International Flights (e.g., Vietnam, Myanmar):

Children (2+ years): Same allowance as adults.
Infants (under 2 years): 10 kg (22 lbs), max 115 cm (45 in), plus one stroller, car seat, or carrycot free.
Nok Fan Club Benefits: Nok Smile Plus members get +10 kg on top of standard allowance (e.g., 25 kg for Nok X-tra domestic).
Notes: Combining allowances allowed (e.g., two passengers with 15 kg each can check one 30 kg bag), but each bag must not exceed 30 kg. Strict enforcement at DMK and HKT; Label bags with name, address, and phone number. Valuable/fragile items (e.g., electronics, jewelry) not recommended in checked baggage.

Sports Equipment (e.g., bicycles, golf bags, surfboards, diving equipment): Counts toward free allowance if ≤30 kg and ≤160 x 119 x 119 cm (one item) or ≤203 cm height (multiple items). Items >40 x 75 x 50 cm require special handling, fees ~THB 300–900 (~$8–$25 USD) per kg if over allowance. Bicycles must be packed in approved bags; surfboards subject to space availability.
