Sky Express, a Greek airline, allows limited name corrections on tickets but does not permit full name changes or ticket transfers to another person.   • Name corrections are permitted in the following cases, provided the corrected name matches the official travel document presented at departure: mistyped names in Latin characters, such as ELENA instead of ELENI; a double name where only one name was entered; reversed insertion of first and last names, such as JOHN/PAPPAS instead of PAPPAS/JOHN; mistyping errors of up to three characters in the first or last name; use of a diminutive instead of the full first name, such as Beth instead of Elizabeth; or omission of a middle name.
  • Full name changes to transfer a ticket to another person are not allowed. A new booking must be made for a different traveler.
  • Name corrections incur a service fee per passenger when processed through the Sky Express Call Center. No corrections can be made online; they must be handled via the Call Center or at the airport.
  • Bookings made through travel agencies must have name corrections processed through the agency, not directly with Sky Express.
  • The name on the ticket must exactly match the traveler’s passport or government-issued ID to avoid boarding issues.
  • Name corrections are not permitted for certain promotional fares, such as Two-to-Go promotions, or after the journey has commenced.
How to Make Name Corrections

Name corrections can be made through the following methods:

  • Customer Service: Contact the Sky Express Call Center, provide the booking reference and passenger details, request the correction, and submit necessary documents, such as a passport or ID. A service fee applies per passenger, and a confirmation email with the updated ticket will be sent upon completion.
  • In-Person: Visit a Sky Express ticket counter at the airport, provide the booking reference and identification documents, and request the correction. A service fee applies, and a confirmation email will be sent.
  • Travel Agency: For bookings made through a travel agency, contact the agency directly to request the correction, provide required documents, and pay any applicable fees. The agency will coordinate with Sky Express.

  • Name corrections must be requested before check-in, ideally well before departure, to avoid boarding issues. Check-in desks close a short time before departure for domestic and international flights.
  • A service fee is charged for name corrections made through the Call Center or at the airport, and additional fees may apply for fare differences or agency processing.
  • Passengers should ensure the name matches their passport or ID exactly, especially for international flights, to comply with security regulations.
  • For bookings involving codeshare flights, such as with Etihad Airways, additional restrictions may apply, and corrections may not be possible.
